Discount retailer Burlington Stores will open a new store in San Dimas on Friday, May 13, bringing the company’s California total to 89 stores.

The store, located at 933 W. Arrow Highway, will sell a variety of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, children’s clothing, footwear, home decor items, toys and pet products. The store opens at 8 a.m. and the first 100 customers aged 18 and over will receive a $5 bonus card to use for purchases.

Those who shop Saturday, May 14 will receive a free Burlington umbrella while supplies last, the retailer said.

Burlington CEO Michael O’Sullivan said the company is looking to reach more buyers.

“We continue to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to open a store in San Dimas,” O’Sullivan said in a statement. “We look forward to giving local customers the chance to experience fantastic prices on a wide range of products.”

In March, the retail chain opened another store at 10801 Zelzah Ave. in Granada Hills.

Burlington offers a year-round layaway program at most stores that allows customers to layaway items at checkout and return to pay for merchandise later. For more details on the program, visit www.burlington.com/helpcenter/layaway.
