athleisure brand Gym + Coffee announced the move and expansion of its store in Belfast’s Victoria Square shopping centre.
The new 3,000 square foot space is located on the ground floor and will continue to stock the brand’s activewear line.
The Irish brand said it has now been delivering its clubhouse concept to the Belfast community from Victoria Square for a year and has seen a wave of success since launching its first location in Ireland.
News of the relocation and increase follows the signing of sportswear and loungewear brand Gilly Hicks, which is due to open its first Irish store in Victoria Square later this year, next to Gym+Coffee.
Commenting on the relocation and expansion of Gym+Coffee, Russell Banham, UK Director of Commerz Real, said: “Gym+Coffee opened in Victoria Square last year and since then they have continued to strengthen both in terms of sales and recognition. The popularity of the brand and the success of their first location here means that an increase in size will really support their growth. We are excited to continue our relationship with Gym+Coffee and offer an expanded concept that we know our visitors love.
Natalie Conway, Retail Director of Gym+Coffee, added, “The demand we’ve seen in this store has hit a higher level. We have a great relationship with the wider community, and this new location within Victoria Square will provide us with even more opportunities to expand our clubhouse concept and have a much larger presence. It also allows us to continue to deliver and meet the high demand in the city of Belfast and beyond.
