UPDATE 7pm: The criminal complaint filed against suspect Troy Driver alleges that Driver “willfully seized, confined, blinded, lured, lured, abducted, concealed, kidnapped or carried away a person by any means with intent to detain or detain, or detains or detains the person for ransom or reward, or for the purpose of committing sexual assault, extortion, or robbery on or from the person, or for the purpose of killing the person or cause him significant bodily harm (. ..).”
The complaint further states that Driver is accused of abducting Naomi Irion and detaining or detaining her for the purpose of committing a sexual assault and/or for the purpose of killing her, all of which occurred at or near the 1550 E. Newlands Drive, Fernley (Walmart Mall address).
The body of missing 18-year-old Naomi Irion was found in a remote area of Churchill County on Tuesday. The body was confirmed by the Washoe County Medical Examiners’ Office on Wednesday as Naomi Irion, according to a press release from the Churchill and Lyon County Sheriff’s Offices.
Fallon’s Troy Edward Driver was seen making his first court appearance on Wednesday afternoon after being charged with kidnapping the still missing 18-year-old Naomi Irion.
