#RivertonBiz: skate shop opens in Riverton last week

“#Rivertonbiz, shares the stories of local movers and shakers in our Fremont County economy.

(Riverton, Wyoming) – A few blocks from Tyler Ray Apodaca Skate Park at Riverton’s City Park is the brand new Last Stand Skates (LSS) store.

They opened their doors last week and the current opening hours are 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. You can also purchase merchandise from their website at laststandskates.com.

Washingtonians Kim and Shawn Hendricks moved here just four months ago, taking their Woodland Skates skate shop with them, which they opened as LSS at 109 N 5th E between E Main and E Fremont.

They carry just about anything a skateboarder or a kid who scooters needs, Kim explained with County 10. We try to carry anything that a kid or adult would be interested in, from beginner to collector.

“If we don’t have it, we’ll find it for them.

They offer a variety of brands including Darkroom, Antihero, Shorty’s, and Independent, among others. The products include bridges, trucks, wheels, parts and clothing. They plan to add shoes in the coming months and also offer gift cards.
