Why we love it: Toronto-based ethically made clothing brand, Kotn, has set up shop in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood.

Located at 3743 Main Street, the 1,450 square foot boutique is the brand’s first physical store in the city. The opening marks the start of a brand expansion plan that will see the opening of eight to ten new stores in Canada and the United States by early next year.

“At Kotn, we’ve always been focused on building community, and we believe that connection happens in real life, in physical spaces,” says Rami Helali, co-founder and CEO of Kotn.

“Since we opened our first pop-up store in Gastown, we’ve had a really dedicated community in Vancouver, so we’re thrilled to be able to create a permanent space to come together in person.”

The store will feature a full selection of products from the certified B-Corp company for men and women as well as a “limited collection of consciously made products” from local designer Rachel Saunders Ceramics, as well as items from SSSoaps.

The price: From $12.
